Interested in clerking for a Supreme Court Justice? Seems like HLS is the place to be! Of the incoming 39 clerks for the 2010-2011 term, 11 are HLS alums, the highest number from a single law school this year. You can read more about it here.
The New York Times yesterday also noted the prevalence of HLS alums in the Supreme Court clerkship pool – you can read about it here. Though Justice Thomas may not believe HLS is the best stepping stone for his clerks, the other justices appear to disagree quite strongly with Justice Thomas!
Here at HLS, there are incredible resources for landing a clerkship upon graduation and beyond. Kirsten Solberg is the captain of the clerkship boat – she supports hundreds of students each year as they go through the arduous clerkship process. Kirsten and the vast network of HLS alums who are current or past clerks are the backbone of our amazing clerkship placement success.
