Finals are almost over, the holidays are almost here and the end of 2012 has brought some wonderful news to the HLS campus.
This week it was announced that six of this year’s Skadden Fellows hail from Harvard Law School. This fellowship is an amazing opportunity for students who are about to begin a career in public interest. Congratulations to Haben Girma, Robert Hodgson, Hunter Landerholm, Adam Meyers, Mara Sachs and Daniel Saver!

More generally, this has been a incredible month of recognition for the Harvard Law community. In addition to the six Skadden Fellows, Professor Jonathan Zittrain was named among the 100 Foreign Policy Globall Thinkers for 2012, Professor Robert Mnookin was honored by the Interantional Academy of Mediateors with a lifetime achievement award, the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association named Professor Suk ’02 among their 2012 list of the “Best Lawyers Under 40”, and Joel Alicea ’13 and J.B. Tarter ’09 were recently named to Forbes 2012 “30 Under 30” list.
What a great way to end the year! I would like to wish you all the best in this holiday season!
