The Transactional Law Clinics of Harvard Law School is accepting applications for summer interns. Summer interns will have direct client contact and engage in actual legal practice in one or more of the TLC practice areas, under the supervision and mentoring of clinical faculty. TLC works on interesting and complex transactional law issues ranging from for profit and non-profit entity formation, contract preparation and review, negotiation, business acquisitions and sales, commercial leasing, permitting and licensing, real estate transactions, entertainment contracts, corporate governance, client advocacy, and other kinds of transactional law matters. No prior experience in these legal areas is required; training will be provided. However, students with course work or experience in business, non-profit, real estate, entertainment, intellectual property, or contract law are encouraged to apply.
Students interested in working at TLC must firmly commit to work a minimum of 30 hours per week from May 23-July 29. Interns will generally work on site at the TLC campus location. This is an unpaid position, so the student must obtain his/her own Summer Public Interest Funding.
