On 7 October 2011, the US Government issued a warning about possible terrorist attacks in Kenya. The warning relates to credible information about a potential threat to public venues broadcasting international sporting events such as the Kenya-Uganda football match on Saturday 8 October and the Rugby World Cup. You should avoid public venues such as sports bars, nightclubs and restaurants that will be broadcasting these games, as well as public transport, such as buses, to and from these events
