Professor Vicki Jackson seeks one or more research assistants for the summer with a possibility of continuing in the Fall. Presence in Cambridge would be helpful though it is not required. Her current research projects include U.S. federalism; proportionality as legal principle and doctrine in U.S., comparative and international law; territoriality, extraterritoriality and legal pluralism; social welfare guarantees in constitutions and their relationship to judicial review; gender equality law, domestic and transnational; and other topics in U.S. and comparative constitutional law.
Interested students should submit a resume or CV, a transcript, and a short statement of interest to Professor Jackson (vjackson@law.harvard.edu) and her faculty assistant, Sylvia Baldwin (sbaldwin@law.harvard.edu). Please indicate how much time on average per week the applicant could devote to RA work.
