Kerry Concedes Platform, Election

Kerry states that he would have voted to authorize Bush to invade Iraq even if he had known what he knows today.
If Kerry is being “subtle,” he’s gone one step too far. Among
Congress’s Constitutional duties is the power to declare war. Kerry is
not only morally wrong to stand by his decision to authorize war, but
wrong to claim “it’s the right authority for a president to have.” It’s not.

The only reason a President may launch a military campaign
is an emergency. In a war of choice, as the Democrats were
describing Iraq (at least, I thought that
was their position!), there is time for Congress to deliberate and act
accordingly. It enrages me that Kerry lacks the backbone to stand on
the only platform that gives him any distinction in November.

Bill Clinton cackles in Glee

Thanks, McAuliffe, for engineering the only candidate who would
defeat himself in a debate. Hillary ’08… Conspiracy theorists, unite!
