On Monday, Rachel objected to the scatology of Arlo & Janis,
which (to its credit) is one of the most adult comic strips in
newspapers today. Despite ample warning from Janis, while I was away in
Texas Rachel did indeed proceed to flush twice… with predictable
results.

are a sad backwater of the entertainment business produced by suckers
who crank out gags 365 days a year, no vacations, no medical
benefits… no pension plans…

it was 75 degrees Farenheit. It was a great place for running, but I
wouldn’t want to be there in the summer. Frankly, I liked coming home
to 36″ of snow.
I’m in Austin (”rhymes with Boston”), Texas, y’know, that little
patch of blue in the Original Red State? It was 76 yesterday (too hot!)
but now it’s cool and drizzly. That’s more like it!
