Last weekend Rada and I went to the Diversity Day Parade in Cambridge. It appeared to be Cambridge’s response to the DNC. Sort of like “humph, Boston is getting all the attention this summer: I want to have my OWN party.” The parade was a mixture that could only be seen in Cambridge: preteens from local dance studios marched behind gay marriage floats, who marched behind smokers protesting the Cambridge smoking ban, who marched behind Nader for President. Rada loved it. So did my sister, Rebecca.
