Saturday my daughter and I visited friends.

Sunday we spent not doing much of anything. The rain poured down all day. We made a major expedition out of getting into rain gear, going to the nearest playground and stomping in puddles. That done, we did a quick shopping at Walgreens, came home, and spent the rest of the day lazing around the house playing with trains and stuffed animals.

I played many bit parts in vibrant dramas that featured Pink Bear, Cat, and Thomas Tank Engine. Often the thematic content was so powerful that the scene had to be replayed again and again. There was one moment when a character gets woken up out of a deep sleep by a big red dog that is hicupping. I got to be the person sleeping. It always took a lot of hiccups to ‘wake’ me.
