This past weekend was the Big Birthday Bash.
I was told to invite as many children as her age, which I did. But I was still bowled over by the tidal wave of energy pulsing through my apartment. Songs were sung, candles were blown out, horns were blown, and hats were worn. It was lots of fun; truly a good time was had by all. And each of her small guests was a bundle of pure joy.
It has been 3 days now and my daughter is still wearing her birthday hat during dinner. She puts it on and says, “its my birthday”. I try to explain that it all happened several days ago, but she feels the hat endows her with birthday aura, and perhaps it does. Who am I to disagree?

Happy Birthday, Rada! She’s so beautiful!
I love it! Maybe Rada will celebrate her birthday all year long!!! That’s what I did with my 50th… and no doubt about it some years are more important than others and this was a very special birthday in many ways for Rada!
