Welcome to the new server!
If you can see this, you are using the brand new high-powered Blogs@Law server, which we have named “spike.” (Our old server was named “clem.” See if you can spot the pattern!)
The upgrade began at 12:00pm and was completed by 3:30pm. We hope you enjoy the many new features of the new server, most noticable of which is better page load speeds, more themes, and sidebar widgets. Send questions and comments to weblogs -at- cyber.law.harvard.edu to help us work out any post-migration kinks or to suggest other features you’d like us to support.
Remember that if you want to continue to use statistics tracking, you need to activate the WP-SlimStat plugin from your Plugins page in the Dashboard (it may take a minute or two to convert your old statistics — click only once and be patient). You may also want to review your copyright license in the Options > License page to ensure your work is being shared under the correct license.

I’d assumed “Spike” was a reference to Spike Seigel of Cowboy Be-Bop…..

Buffy the vampire slayer. (I didn’t know that myself, but Google did.)

Also, I’d like to suggest a plugin, like LinkOrder, that allows us to play with the order of our link categories. For example, I’d like my blogroll to be the first set of links in my sidebar, but I can’t do that right now.
Great job, all.

Id really love to know the metatags to show stats on the blogs. WP-SlimStat is supposed to support this but i cant find any instruction or listing of the tags in the forums I’m looking through. Since the new install our old metatags pointing to the counter have stopped functioning.
Everything else is looking beautiful though, outstanding job.

Since the update, I never get an “Upload/Browse All” Box on the Write Post page. Instead, it says “This feature requires iFrame support.” The other frames do appear (viz., Optional Excerpt, Trackbacks, Custom Fields).
Once today, the Upload box did appear when I called up the Write PAGE editor, but I have not been able to repeat that achievement (the same line “This feature requires iFrame support” shows up instead).
Does any one have a solution or suggestion?

I do not know how or why, but my Write Post page now appears with an Upload frame/box. Therefore, although the mystery of its disappearance has not been solved, the Uploading problem apparently has been.
