I would be concerned if Shimon and/or Josh who actually wrote the thing had expressed some picque at this or similar remarks I have made at previous meetings.

<a></a>

I strongly object to j's abundantly false claim in her notes for 08/12 [which curiously seems immune to accepting further comments], that I said very insulting things about Shimon. I said that the was hard for a beginning blogger like me to understand. This is not about Shimon, nor is it insulting at all and a fortiori not "very insulting". j has contributed ideas to the design of Frassle and seems to feel a pride of ownership in it. I would be concerned if Shimon and/or Josh who actually wrote the thing had expressed some picque at this or similar remarks I have made at previous meetings. j seems to feel more possessive than they with less reason.

The exchange continued in a similar vein for a few minutes mostly it was about the complexity of the interface. Shimon finally in a NOT UNgentlemanly way essentially rejected my remark. I said that he only felt that way because he, "has an excess of short term memory and therefore doesn't understand they way the rest of humanity works." Anyone who doesn't recognize that as an affectionate jibe from an old [and former] software engineer to a young one is wrong. Such a person is a humorless drudge with an excess of short term memory. Now that's an insult. :)
