My apologies for the /late late late/ agenda. There was a bit of confusion about who was going to post the agenda this week.

- Dan Gillmor on Monday (2/13) – “We the Media: The Rise of Grassroots, Open-Source Journalism, and the Coming Era of the Citizen Activist,” 7 pm, Kennedy School of Government, Malkin Penthouse, 4th floor Littauer Building (which is different from Littauer Center)
- sj explains Wikipedia at Simmons College Monday, 7 pm, Special Functions Room, first floor, Main College Building
- Cory Doctorow on Wednesday (2/15) – “Set Top Cop: Hollywood’s Secret War on Your Living Room,” Wednesday, Feb. 15, 6 pm, 105 Emerson Hall, Harvard College

- Andy Carvin, bandwidth waster, international traveler, blogger, sharer of fabulous tails and tales, who does really important things, has a new book coming out. When it’s available for distribution, he’ll tell us about it.
- Dan Bricklin, known for his work on VisiCalc and wikiCalc
- Possibly a superstar blogging librarian who’s giving a talk in the area
- Ookles, perhaps — if their Boston road show works with a Thursday meeting
- Someone who can fill us in on what’s happening with China and the Internet

Hello randy.f,
Sorry about IRC tonight. The only machine in the room was the machine we were using for the meeting. It was difficult to take notes, surf to all the cool sites ZB was showing us, and keep up with IRC.

Thanks for the kind thoughts. I have been trying to attend all of the meetings via astral projection, don’t know if you noticed anything. Am mending slowly and should be back in circulation soon.
