Wild Sound

Tonight one of my future roommates came over and chatted and gave me a check and signed the lease and I am so glad the Apes will be gone in 1.5 months, so glad. The new guy gave me two months’ rent even though I only asked for one, cuz he said it would be simpler for him … ‘kay, I won’t complain. I suppose this is really the end of House of the Apes (see sidebar), even though I haven’t written any episodes in ages cuz I steer completely clear of them now and am a total recluse in my own house and therefore have no material. I could write a “House of the Crazy Recluse Girl” series perhaps, but there’s not much funny about that. But all that will change in 1.5 months. Maybe in the intervening weeks I will try to interact with them more to get some material for a send-off episode. Maybe there will be a reconciliation. Maybe someone will get killed off. Stay tuned.
