Hi Derek, Yes, I just turned 18 in March, Senior Prom is Friday (I pick up my Prom dress tomorrow), and then I'll be graduating from High School in 24 days! I'm hoping to become an attorney, since I've had so much real world experience already. But first I've just started a publishing company, Aimee Deep Publishing. Give Big Media a little competition, ya know.

So how are things at Harvard Law? I check your blog quite often. Thanks so much for your support of the Copyfight - I can't tell you how much I've appreciated it! Please keep writing. Love, /Aimee

Hmm, I wrote on my blog that I thought things didn't look good for Kazaa, given the judge's reasoning. But, you make an interesting point about the Supernodes. It can't be that merely connecting to the network constitutes contributory infringement. To strain the analogies, it'd be like faulting a large blank video cassette manufacturer or a copier toner producer. They facilitate both legal and illegal uses of a complementary product, just like Supernodes facilitate both legal and illegal uses. But, wouldn't the fact that Kazaa controls its own proprietary software still matter? As I read it, part of what got Grokster off the hook was not being able to control the software they license from Kazaa. Doesn't that leave Kazaa on the hook?
