<a></a>

My gut feeling is that Fisher's vision looks as if it turn music into a commodity. Turn on tap, get water. Turn on computer, get music. Very interesting idea, well researched, radical shift from current models. Would be the dream scheme for most people.

Cringely's scheme relies on a coporation offering a service and the stock market to generate worth. Much easier to explain to most people and would look more plausible, although maybe not trully economically viable.
