Hey PJ! I am going to cheat and simply include the wikipedia article for your reading pleasure. There are three houses in the Quad -- Currier, Cabot, and Pforzheimer -- and each have their own stories to tell! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quadrangle_(Harvard)

Hello Joy!

Your daughter might be referring to the tours offered by the Admissions Office. The Crimson Key is a student organization supported by Harvard that gives its own (and in my opinion, much better) tours. Here is their website! You will see their tour times right on their homepage! http://www.crimsonkeysociety.org/

Hi there!

My daughter and I are planning a campus tour on April 30, Saturday. She said she read somewhere that tours are scheduled only at 11am on Saturdays. From your blog, you said they do the Crimson Key Tour at 10am, 12nn and 2pm Monday-Saturday? Would you please verify/confirm that again. We can only make it to Harvard in the afternoon-from 1pm onwards. Hopefully you are right. Otherwise, would you know of any student who would be willing to give as a tour in the afternoon? Do you give tours yourself?

Thanks so much for your kind assistance,
Joy

2.) Go on a Crimson Key Tour

It’s easy to say, “Go to Memorial Hall!” or “Go to Widener Library!” but really, the Crimson Key tour covers it all, and they do a GREAT job! Seriously, do yourself a favor and go on their tours. They leave from the Information Center in the Holyoke Center (next to the Au Bon Pan in Harvard Square) at 10:00 am, 12:00 pm, and 2:00 pm Monday- Saturday.
