With over 4.1 million inhabitants, the region (officially the “Riverside–San Bernardino–Ontario Metropolitan Statistical Area”) is larger in population than Uruguay, Armenia, and Kuwait, and slightly smaller than Ireland, New Zealand, and Lebanon.
