Cruisin’…..
…on a lovely afternoon (or something like that!).
Yesterday, our group had our summer outing and we took a cruise on the Charles River. Once I got my sea legs straight, it was a very enjoyable afternoon! There were around 40 of us, from both AMPS and AC. Great people, great food, great weather – who could ask for more?
I brought my new digital video camera along to capture the trip. Notice I said new – I’ve only had it for a week and I’m not a technologically inclined person (not everyone at MIT is a genius!) and I proved it. When I got home, I found that the tape was empty. I’ve figured out exactly what I did wrong but I will deny it to no end if asked! (The battery did run out part way into the trip and I’ll blame it on that. And we’ll leave it at that. Okay? 
Anyway, I believe that a fun time was had by all and now we need to just get through this day and we’re all off for a long weekend – yay!

Please tell us what you learned about your digital video camera. Have you gotten it to work yet? I would love if you posted video clips !
