I was thinking the yellow daylilies were possibly Stella D'oro. Very pretty. I love the ferns. With a little more sunlight that peony should get bigger and better every year. Mow it down in the fall and she'll come back each spring. My peonies are over 6 feet now.

The yellow flowers with grassy leaves are daylilies (maybe Hyperion?); the white and pink one is a peony, I think a Festiva Maxima. The previous owners left you some nice stuff!

We've been hitting the 100's with high humidity (83% today). I'm practically wilting whenever I walk out the door. My husband works inside without a/c and I don't know HOW he does it. The high temps are at least a month early this year and I fear for August.
