CyberOne: Law in the Court of Public Opinion

There are a few ways to access the videos of the lectures for this course. You may choose which one suits you best. In general, the lecture videos will be posted within 48 hours after the lecture is complete.

• The Weeks Pages. In the Weeks Pages section of the course wiki we will have a page for each week of the course. The lecture videos that correspond to that week will be posted on the Week Page for that week (in QuickTime format). We recommend using the Week Page to view the videos because you will find lots of other relevant information on that page that will help you contextualize the video. Lecture videos will generally be available on the Week Page approximately 24 hours after the lecture takes place.

• The Extension School Video Page. For students enrolled in the Harvard Extension School course only, the Harvard Extension School will be maintaining a video page with all of the videos for the course. These videos will be available in RealMedia format. The Extension School has a nice viewing system in which it shows you the video along with some related course materials. Lecture videos will be available on the Harvard Extension School Video page approximately 48 hours after they take place.
• Second Life Media Library. The lecture videos will be available for viewing in Second Life in the media library on Berkman Island. When viewed in Second Life the videos will not have a lot of contextual material accompanying them. You may also find that it is taxing for your computer to run Second Life and play the video at the same time. We expect that the lecture videos will be available in Second Life approximately 24 hours after they take place.

For those who are looking to do a video editing project using the lecture videos, we will also be making them available in broadcast quality through the Berkman Center media server. We encourage all types of editing and remixing of the videos and in some cases we may have additional video material from the lecture that you may also use. All of our videos are licensed under a non-commercial, share-alike Creative Commons license.
