She named him Sonny Jim

Buzz: You just combined 2 of my favorite songs. The France song, with the tune from the Chicago Columbian Expo & the Dead song- The Dead song I remember is:
Do not laugh when a hearse goes by,
Or you shall be the next to die.
They wrap you up in a clean white sheet
And bury you six feet deep.
The worms crawl in,
The worms crawl out,
The worms play pinochle on your snout!

And I think the Dead song was sung to some famous Danse Macabre.

I sang both in the 60’s- what fun!

So random that I found this, I was just singing this song at home and my boyfriend laughed saying that’s not the version he knew so I googled and found this blog.
