It makes perfect sense. But then, the entertainment industry doesn’t. Some movie theaters experimented with selling DVDs. On the one hand, it made perfect sense as if you were already there, you’ve already made the effort to watch a movie and so buying a DVD would only add to profits. On the other hand, it went against industry policy and “windowing” strategies and was never widely adopted.
