We spent a chunk of Saturday huddled in the basement with our daughter Virginia (just turned 2) waiting out the Tornado warnings here in Hammond, Indiana... there's quite a bit of odd weather these days.
We got warnings from the Cable TV, and my Sister and then warned everyone we could think of until the cell phone network got overloaded.
This is one time I don't think twitter would have helped.

D. I use the accuweather extension on firefox. it displays the forecast for the next three days at the bottom of the browser. It also shows the current weather which, believe it or not, actually correlates with what I see from the window in front of my desk and what I experience first hand at those odd moments when I do leave my desk and go outside! S.
