Maybe one of ya’ll can explain to me why this post I put up last night does not appear in the blog. Nor does it appear among my list of posts in the WordPress admin dashboard. Yet clearly it exists. Strange.

my guess: you created it as a page, not a post (at least that’s what the post’s URL suggests)

Looks like you wrote it and scheduled it for a later release. (If you wrote it last night the date on it is Sept 1?)
I see WordPress foul this up regularly enough that eventually I just gave up on trying to post in advance. It works sometimes and not others and I’ve never seen a good explanation for why…

Is it listed as Private? Or a draft? You are linking to it, otherwise it remains hidden. Just a thought.

It’s not private, and I just edited the date so it’s August 31. No difference.

Ah, Michael, you nailed it. It was a page and not a post. I wasn’t even aware that there was a difference. Again, a new dashboard/ui. Fixed. Thanks!
