		<description>I think that the sentiment holds value, but at the moment the customer doesn&#039;t seem to realise just how much influence they actually have over the organisation.  Although the social media has clearly empowered the consumer by reducing asymmetries of information and by facilitating conversation, I am sceptical as to whether the general populaton truly recognise this power yet.  Until such a time, I think the majority of organisations will continue to belittle the customer by presenting themselves as superior.</description>
