That, and his seeming hatred of free speech. The last thing I want is another Woodrow Wilson "I know best" type. I’m more worried about his “we are the change we have been waiting for” rhetoric than about his stated positions. As for Obama's positions, you can find them <a href="http://www.barackobama.com/issues/" rel="nofollow">here</a>. Many are wonky and/or vague, but they're there, and pretty far short of messianic. Yes, Palin looked awful in that clip. However, there's one thing about Palin that I like a lot compared to all 3 of the others: I don't think she thinks she has the answer to everything. It's clear that McCain believes he has the answers; it's been clear for eons that Biden believes he's the smartest guy in any room. And Obama? I'm afraid he's drunk the koolaid his campaign is selling, and thinks of himself as the political messiah. I'd rather do without political messiahs and "masters of the universe" types, thanks. If my personal beliefs are wildly at odds with Obama's stated positions (hard though those are to find), then I should just pinch my nose until I draw blood and vote for him anyway?
