Well, Francine, I know people who know McCain, and like him, and find him honorable. And up until he turned into a prick in the campaign, I wasn’t uncomfortable with the prospect of him winning, because neither candidate could be worse than Bush. Now he looks worse than Bush to me, and Palin worse still. And it isn’t because of anything the Obama campaign has done, either.

Doc, I have lived in AZ for forty years. All of this is true, much of the earlier part from his own book, and the later part from articles in local papers.Why do you think I told Steve Gillmor that many old time Arizona Republicans don’t want McCain to be President?
