D. Good that you raise the issue of Obama's (and other candidates') books. A few days ago, I wrote a post (http://tinyurl.com/44cylb) on the language of the Third Reich and the language of the present campaign. and the roles of St. Paul and Dr. Goebbels as the fathers of advertising. Your words above prompt me to write a parallel piece on St. Augustine, Hitler, the presidential election of 1960, and the genre of political autobiographies. I'll give you a shout when the piece appears. S.

While I liked what Chris Buckley wrote here and have many sympathies, I couldn't help but sigh wistfully over remembering his father's erudition and wit. "I've spent my life trying to separate the Right from the kooks" he once said.

Yet I am still drawn to vote independently of the McBama Republicratic party, although it is hard to imagine a unified Democratic government as being worse than the currently split one. And: my gut tells me to vote against everyone currently in power, no matter what party, and exit the voting booth with both middle fingers upraised.

Before we make a choice we may regret for the next four years, the accusations against Barack Obama should be carefully considered, <a href="http://www.FairAndUnbalanced.com?http://www.testimoanials.com/blog/blog1.php/2008/10/10/the-difference-between-jefferson-davis-a" rel="nofollow">as they are here</a>.
