Let it Snow

We were flying along in the bus when wham: it started snowing. Heavily. Now we’re creeping along through Westchester, and the road is clearly getting a little dangerous. There’s an inch or so on the ground now, and it’ll probably get a lot deeper before it starts raining later and turns it and turns it all into slush. Or “wintry mix,” as they now call it.

Love the weather map above, though. Looks like a flag.

Arg. I’ve got the picture, but WordPress won’t let me put it in this post. Dunno why.

  1. Just so you know, Doc, down here where you used to hang out in Tar Heel land, the high at RDU today was 71. Kinda gloomy and wet, and no blue sky, but still short-sleeve weather.

  3. Doc: Photo upload in WordPress. I’ve been wrestling with this for hours and finally figured out the problem in new WordPress 2.7. When you upload and then copy the link address of the photo in the “Add and image” box, you’ll see 3 oval boxes just under the link address: None, File URL, and Post URL. Be sure the oval box “File URL” is the link you are copying.
