As you probably know, the cure rate for this cancer is very high but the most effective treatment consists of 6 to 8 very uncomfortable month-long cycles of chemotherapy. The entire extended family is taking turns visiting to give her moral support. I should be able to time a visit to coincide with a luncheon during the fall semester at Harvard.
