Funny, I&#039;ve been writing this blog since 1999, and I&#039;ve never paid much, if any, attention to how many readers I had. 

I have over 17,000 followers on Twitter, and I don&#039;t care much about that either. I&#039;m sure all but a few thousand of them at most aren&#039;t people. But I don&#039;t know. Tweeting to me feels a bit like pissing in the ocean lately. 

I know readers are there, and I&#039;m glad I have them. But anyway, going for reader numbers has never been a game I wanted to play.</description>
