Another Poker Tour from PokerStars for Latin America
PokerStars is one of the few poker companies which arranges so many poker tours every year. Few days ago PokerStars announced that it is now going to start a Latin American Poker Tour. Last time Pokerstars went to Latin America, it was warmly welcomed by many people so this time it has decided to pack up the tournament with good players to increase the enthusiasm. Humberto Brenes, who is one of the PokerStars pro said that they have chosen Costa Rica for the Latin American Poker Tour. The players will get attracted to this tour from all over the world but most of the players will be from Latin America. Last time there was a PokerStars tour in Costa Rica, the prize pool was close to $1 million, PokerStars is very sure that it will be able to beat that prize pool this time as there will be more buy-ins. This Latin America has become the biggest tour of 2009 in the whole Latin America. As the prize pool is expected to be a lot so half of it will be donated to The Whitley Funds of Nature. Although there was a big reason behind the success of this tour as the biggest players like Negreanu and Andre participated in this tour but this time it is expected that almost every good poker player will join in. PokerStars is offering a side prize too for the winner which is a free one hour coaching of poker lessons directly from “Shark”. Akkari said that he is really excited about this LAPT and can’t wait to visit Costa Rica as it is an amazing country. Obviously there are many people who are not participating in the tour but are really excited about seeing their favorite players playing and winning. This tour is a bit different from other tours as we usually don’t see too many poker tours in Latin America. PokerStars is really growing stronger and stronger everyday and is trying its best to arrange fantastic poker tours all over the world. You will be able to see the live stats of this poker tour over the PokerStars website.
