The Winner of Chicago Main Event

Unexpected things are happening these days in the gambling world. As we all know that the Chicago Main Event was going on from many days. No one was expecting that Dan Livingston will win the tournament. He was just an ordinary player and was considered just an average player like others. This one tournament really turned out to be a fortune for Livingston. Livingston was not at all planning to enter into the tournament but luckily he changed his mind and decided to pay the $5000 buy-in. This was the biggest tournament of Livingston ever. When he survived for two weeks in the tournament, he was really surprised. When the end days of the tournament came near, Livingston was having just few chips in his poker and then suddenly the time changed. On the final table Livingston was having 900,000 chips and just after few minutes he was holding 2,000,000 chips which were more than 1/4 of the total chips on the table. That was the moment when Livingston thought that he could really win the tournament. Tom Floros was giving the real tough time to Livingston throughout the tournament. It was not too long before we could hear the news that Livingston has won the tournament. Totally unexpected victory. All the good poker players were shunted out before the final table and the final table was full of the players which no one was expecting to see. This win no doubt increased the confidence of this young player and it is said that he is now focusing on winning the 2010 WSOP which will be full of best poker players from all over the world. The prize money Livingston got from this tournament was near to $300,000 and the second position poker player, Tom Floros won around $200,00 in cash. This young kid is full of talent and it is expected that he will be the future Phil Ivey of poker. This was his first tournament and you can see how well he performed. Just imagine what will be his future performance if his debut was so perfect.
