Florida on its way to legalize gambling

Quebec legalized gambling, France legalized gambling and many other famous states and countries legalized gambling throughout the year 2009. Obviously this gave a great motivation to other states and countries. And this is the reason why we are having rumors every day that Florida is going to legalize gambling. It won’t be a big surprise if this happens but still it is said that the chances are very less. There was a twelve page article found at egaming Review. The main theme of the article was that Florida is going to legalize online gambling after a long awaited report. This report was originally prepared by OPPAGA. There is no doubt that this report won’t go unnoticed and will also be presented to Florida Senate at the end of this month. Legalizing gambling in Florida won’t be that easy and just one report might not work that perfectly just because legalizing gambling is a huge responsibility over the state. Keeping check and balance is difficult in online gambling because anyone can start playing poker online with just a computer and Internet connection at home. There have been many cases in online gambling in which people played poker online with stolen credit cards and all losses were 0obviously charged to the original credit card holder. The online gambling in Florida can generate approximately ninety million dollars of income every year which means it is a huge source of income however, most of the states are more concerned about privacy and money laundering rather than the benefit they are going to get. There are many states who are considering to legalize online gambling but are facing same just like Florida is facing. And if we check all the possibilities then literally there is no real solution to these problems and states can either take the risk to legalize online gambling or they can simply let it go just the way it is currently which will surely affect hundreds of people who used to earn their income online through poker. Obviously they can go to city or town casinos but that doesn’t equate to what they were getting online.
