When I’m not studying law, I love to play texas holdem online. Read my random rants about bad beats, monster pots, and the legality of online gaming. I think there is a connection between poker and the law. Many of the best poker players in the world are attorneys including 2005 WSOP Main Event Champion Greg Raymor, 1999 Harvard Law School alum Andy Bloch, 2 time WSOP bracelet winner Mark Seif, and many others. Many of the skills of a great poker player are exactly the skills a good lawyer needs — being master tacticians, calculating odds with great speed and precision and being able to anticipate and manipulate your adversaries.
