Michael – I can’t confirm or deny the Avril thing but one of the most popular threads on the Charlie Rose website back around Aug. 2002 was “Is Charlie Rose Jewish.” The question generated some interesting flame wars but ultimately was never resolved. One of the early branches in the thread was something to the effect…”Of course Charlie is Jewish, Rose is a Jewish name.” This was countered by “Of course Charlie isn’t Jewish , he’s from North Carolina.” On and on.

charlie rose must be jewish…. “popularity is the pocketchange of history”…he is a brilliant goat not just popular he has that david milch coupe a certain inner light that shine thru a jew or two jjohn cassavetes had it too…i did my first major t.v. show opposite him…when he looked at you you knew he was there, and conscious…. as is tiger woods and lebran james two other capricorns (born on the same day dec. 30} that is not why he is jewish he just is i feel his heritage as someone who has been there and done that. actually many times and lives .. am i psychic or just intuitive … warm regards…bara z bara
