Students weave worldwide web of plagiarism
About 350,000 academic essays are for sale on the internet, and about 10 per cent of university students’ work is plagiarised, a habit that is spreading, a British expert says. Jude Carroll, a lecturer at Oxford Brookes University, said essays sold on the internet for about $360 for 1500 words and were “poisoning” tertiary education.
