| Meanwhile, closer to home, today is the Cambridge Carribean Carnival. This morning, our regular weekend meeting of the "Just Don’t Suck" tennis club was interrrupted by the syncopated cadences of steel drums and the flash and shimmer of silver and gold tinsel and firm young flesh. On a perfect late summer day, sky a robin’s egg blue and just enough of a breeze to take the bite out of the unfiltered sunlight, the forming up of the festival parade was soon more interesting than our feeble attempts at athletics. Luckily I had my camera in my car…. |
