Could they possibly have chosen a worse poster boy for their campaign to castigate the larcenous youth of America than a 71-year-old grandfather named Durwood Pickle? Perhaps the message they are trying to send in the latest round of 261 suits (46 against Boston-area users, making us Subpeona Central) is that NOBODY IS SAFE. Obviously they feel that feeding their image as heartless out-of-control crypto-capitalists with a legion of blood-thirsty litigators straining at their leashes actually enhances their position vis a vis their real targets, the 60 million teens and college students burning up the bandwidth of their colleges and ISPs. I guess if you believe in the boogeyman….
