Hello,

I am so sorry to hear of Anne's passing.

Sometime in the summer of 1993, I met Anne Dow.

She came to my office, a research institute, to look for my manager. He apparently helped her in carryng groceries back to her appartment. We got to talking while she waited; I learned that we were almost neighbors -- she lived on T Street, I on 17th. We agreed that we would try and meet for coffee.

We did meet again, once. I may have mentioned to her that I write poetry because she invited me to her house to show me a manuscript and a book which she insisted that I take with me. She said that I could return it later. She also talked to me about her husband.

I tried several times to return the reading materials she lent me but each time I rang her or walked over to her apartment, she was not home. She also mentioned a son; would you know where I can contact him? I would really like to return these to her family.

Thank you.

I am trying to verify if this was the Anne Dow who ran Annes place in Washington DC> I have been trying to contact her without any success. If you could contact me it would be greatly appreicated. The Anne Dow I am trying to reach lived at 1731 T St. NW. #3, Washington DC.

Thank you for your help
