The mother of rapper Eminem was reportedly carjacked Thursday night in
metro Detroit.

Debbie Mathers was sitting in her car while pumping gas
at the BP gas station located at Eight Mile and Coolidge roads around 11:30
p.m. She was approached by a man with a silver
handgun who demanded her car and threatened to kill her if she did not
get out of the car, according to Oak Park police.

The carjacker then grabbed Mathers and pulled her out of the vehicle, police
said. He reportedly fled in Mathers’ car and headed west on Eight Mile.

Mathers
reportedly ran into the gas station and called police from a pay phone.
