 Hurricane Charley,
a home wrecker and personal tragedy for many, will prove to be a godsend
for
the lucky Bush Brothers. It will give young Jeb (pictured) endless opportunity
to traipse around the state promising relief and taking advantage of
priceless airtime and photo ops with heart-rending victims of the disaster. It
workers out even better for big brother George; he gets to ride to the
rescue with Federal Disaster Relief and all sorts of additional aid in
a key swing state, which in the last election was THE key swing state.
He may even have an excuse to OCCUPT the state with federal troops,
should it come to that! They say its better to be Lucky than to be Good.
PUNTA GORDA, Fla. (Reuters) – National Guard troops in
Humvees patrolled devastated southwest Florida to prevent looting on
Saturday as rescuers searched for victims of Hurricane Charley which
killed at least 13 people, shredded mobile homes and damaged thousands
of buildings.
"Our worst fears have come true," said Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, who saw "entire
communities totally flattened."
