I just returned from Xaiguan, China where I first heard about baby eating. I asked some of the local people about the practice and they confirmed that it was in fact true, but did not appear disturbed in the least. I spent 4 months in China and must say that I was shocked and discouraged by the overall dishonesty (which is a respected art form in China) and the harshness of the people. This is reflected in the foods they commonly eat that include the heads and feet and tails of animals which they proudly display and consider the best part of the meal. I also learned that the government has a special agency with the duty of finding toxic free food for government employees only. Nothing produced in China is safe to eat. The foods are loaded with chemicals or substances such as in the case of wood products being added to baby formula to increase the protein count and resulting in several infant deaths. There is no regulation other than those in power making sure that they are not poisoned. Such selfishness, greed and inhumanity. Those in the US who think that government regulation is a form of socialism need to go live in a communist country for a while. I am a US citizen and have visited 26 countries and lived abroad for 3 years. I have friends all over the world of every race and religion and class, but I have to say that after 4 months in China, I do not have one friend who I would trust or consider keeping in contact with. I would like to believe that no matter one's race or culture, that we all have hearts and minds and that we are all equal, but the truth of the matter is that Chinese people are harsh, cold, cruel and completely and utterly untrustworthy. The practice of eating babies is a reflection of the overall nature of the Chinese people. I will never return to China and will do everything in my power to NEVER purchase anything that has been produced in China. The greed and ignorance of US citizens who buy cheap Chinese products is the biggest contributor to China's rise in power. Be a true patriot and a conscious global citizen and boycott all Chinese products. The world needs to wake up and realize that China is an evil monster that must be stopped.
