This page is designed to provide information on the DPLA Launch in light of the tragic events in Boston on April 15.

I arranged my own travel. What should I do?
In the wake of this week’s events, many airlines and hotels are being accommodating of those who need to change or reschedule bookings. Please contact your airline and/or hotel directly to make the necessary arrangements.

I arranged my travel/accommodation through Harvard Travel/Berkman. What should I do?
To cancel flights, please reach out to Harvard Travel via email at harvardtravel@bcdtravel.com, or by phone at 1-800-610-5640. Harvard Travel’s hours of operation are 9:00 am – 6:00 pm EST, Monday – Friday. To cancel hotel reservations, please let us know at dpla@cyber.law.harvard.edu. If you need assistance, please contact us at dpla@cyber.law.harvard.edu.

How can I help?
Many thanks to those of you who have reached out with a desire to help those affected by this week’s events. For those of you who expressed interest in local information and resources, the City of Boston has a number of helpful links. The American Red Cross has also issued a statement on how best to support their efforts in Boston. For those who wish to make donations of food, clothing and other items, please visit the Salvation Army’s website. For those interested in making a donation to support the families most affected, please visit the One Fund Boston site.
