Legal Fellowship at the Environmental Defense Fund (EDF), Washington, D.C.

The Environmental Defense Fund’s Washington, D.C. office is seeking a highly qualified and deeply motivated legal fellow to work on projects related to climate change, air quality, and energy, with particular emphasis on reducing climate destabilizing emissions from the oil and natural gas sector.

Qualifications include: recent law graduate; excellent legal research, analytical, writing and advocacy skills; understanding of the federal Clean Air Act; establishes and maintains strong working relationships with internal and external allies; computer proficiency; ability to work independently and to think strategically, as well as to prioritize and be flexible.

Term: September 1, 2014 – August 31, 2015 (Full time position at 35 hours/week).

Compensation: $50,000 annual salary plus benefits.
