The class posing in front of the Supreme Court
After studying the case and reading the briefing for past four weeks, Professor Lazarus’ Advanced Environmental Law Class traveled down to Washington, D.C. to hear oral arguments in UARG v. EPA. As part of the trip, they also had the opportunity to visit the Chief Justice at the Court after the arguments, and to discuss with the Chief oral arguments and the Court’s decision-making process. Then the class visited with Solicitor General Don Verilli at his office to discuss his preparations for the argument he presented that morning before the Court.
