Larry Bodine at LawMarketingBlog invites us to imagine what a law firm would be like if it were run like Southwest Airlines. Like Larry, I think such a law firm would be great for clients and employees. Among the characteristics listed, a law firm run like SWA:
As I posted over at Larry Bodine’s page too, I bet that for all its wishful talk about law firms being run like Southwest Air, when push comes to shove, Southwest probably hires the largest, most inefficient law firms to represent it when it outsources legal work.

Good point, Carolyn. Maybe Larry can use his contacts to find out who SWA uses for its legal needs. I bet they at least bargain hard price-wise.
