Filed under: pre-06-2006 — David Giacalone @ 10:34 pm

The 8th installment of Jim Kacian’s Haiku Primer

is presented  here.   Technical difficulties (of unknown origin) have

delayed this month’s unveiling; sorry for the inconvenience .

Last month Jim discussed writing haiku;

this month he offers A (Very) Brief History of Haiku.

announcer flip  I’d like to use this opportunity to note that Jim Kacian is stepping down

as editor of frogpond (with the Fall 2004 issue, vol. XXVII:3), the most-respected English-language

haiku journal, after seven years of exceptional service.  Thank you, Jim.
