I am desperate! I traveled on the NY thruway in October and was enchanted by the beautiful Mohawk river scenes that flew by my window. I cannot find a source to tell me what trees I was looking at. I know there were weeping willows standing upright, but nearer the banks were trees (bushes?) bending into the water. They were chartreuse in color. I have written a poem about this beautiful experience, but would like to know what tree species I am describing. PLEASE help.

thanks.
